Basically 19secret was created by two regular guys who thought it would be cool to be able to send anonymous SMS messages, like you can send anonymous emails and block caller id on your phone. We looked into it and it was actually possible. So, after a bit of messing around we managed to do it. We showed a few friends and they all said they would love to be able to do it too. 19secret was born.

In keeping with the theme of this service, we too want to remain anonymous! Here is a bit of information about us.

Mr. R

He knows a bit about web sites and mobile networks ... from his day job (he's in marketing). Yes, we do have day jobs. This has all been set up after hours.

After undertaking setting up 19secret, Mr. R now knows a little about PHP programming, and a little about writing bloody terms and conditions.

Other random facts:

  • Likes: basketball, gym, bike riding, a bit of hip hop, a bit of R'n'B.
  • Dislikes: writing web sites, writing terms and conditions, ant farms, dungeons and dragons, stamp collecting, Kenny G, Michael Bolton, duck liver parfait, and long walks on the beach.

Mr. K

He knows a bit about databases and programming ... from his day job (he's an engimineer).

After undertaking setting up 19secret, Mr. K now knows a little about PHP programming, and a little about the Telecommunications Act, the Spam Act and the Privacy Act! Scintillating stuff really.

Other random facts:

  • Likes: sleeping, ant farms, dungeons and dragons, stamp collecting, Kenny G, Michael Bolton, duck liver parfait, and long walks on the beach.
  • Dislikes: reading the Telecommunications Act, reading the Spam Act, and reading the Privacy Act.

Mr. R. reserves the right to payout on Mr. K. because they are mates and Mr. R wrote this web site and Mr. K does not know how to change it! :)
